We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate a multi-trade maintenance team in a fast-paced industrial environment. The successful candidate will supervise electricians, plumbers, drivers, maintenance technicians, and other skilled trades personnel, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians, plumbers, drivers, mechanics, and other maintenance staff.

  • Plan, schedule, and assign maintenance and repair work.

  • Monitor team performance and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

  • Conduct inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

  • Coordinate with operations and management teams to minimize downtime and improve productivity.

  • Manage preventive maintenance programs and maintain maintenance records.

  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility-related issues.

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance personnel.

  • Order and manage tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or maintenance environment.

  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance operations, and multiple trades.

  • Experience supervising electricians, plumbers, drivers, mechanics, or other skilled trades personnel.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Trade certification or technical diploma is an asset.

  • Experience in manufacturing, food processing, industrial plants, or large facility operations.

  • Valid driver's license.
