We are seeking a Dental Assistant to support the lead dentist across general dentistry and orthodontic procedures. This role will provide clinical assistance while also contributing to scheduling, records, patient coordination, and other administrative needs. Professional growth opportunities include radiography training, expanded functions training, a lead assistant pathway, and continuing education support.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures.
- Provide chairside assistance during general dentistry and orthodontic procedures.
- Prepare radiographs and assist with impressions.
- Sterilize instruments and support infection control practices.
- Educate patients on treatment and oral care instructions.
- Coordinate appointments, maintain dental records, and support patient coordination.
- Manage supply inventory and assist with expanded administrative needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in dental assisting.
- Dental assisting certificate or diploma.
- Knowledge of dental radiography, instrument sterilization, and infection control.
- Experience with dental charting, four-handed dentistry, and dental software.
- Strong patient education and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
