Job Details:
- This role will work closely with data governance, architecture, and business stakeholders to establish scalable governance frameworks, metadata management standards, data quality processes, workflow automation, and integrations across a modern data ecosystem built on Azure and Databricks.
Requirement/Must Have:
- Experience implementing Data Catalog, Data Quality, Business Glossary, Data Lineage, and governance workflows.
- Experience designing and implementing metadata management frameworks and governance standards.
- Strong knowledge of metadata modeling, business glossaries, and data classification frameworks.
- Experience configuring role-based access control (RBAC) and governance workflows.
- Knowledge of data governance operating models and best practices.
- Experience with workflow automation and API-based integrations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
Experience:
- Experience implementing metadata modeling and governance frameworks.
- Experience with workflow automation and governance process design.
- Experience supporting enterprise data governance programs.
- Experience defining governance standards, stewardship models, and operational processes.
- Experience with Dev, QA, Staging, and Production environment management.
- Experience with project planning, governance delivery roadmaps, and implementation frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with business, technical, and executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the enterprise vision and strategy for the data governance platform.
- Define and execute foundational delivery plans for governance capabilities.
- Implement governance solutions aligned with enterprise data governance strategies.
- Design and implement metadata management frameworks and governance standards.
- Define and implement data quality requirements and monitoring processes.
- Configure and optimize data catalog, business glossary, lineage, and data quality capabilities.
- Design and implement governance workflows, stewardship processes, and issue management procedures.
- Configure governance structures, domains, communities, responsibilities, and asset models.
- Establish governance standards for metadata, naming conventions, classifications, and completeness requirements.
- Support integration of governance platforms with enterprise data environments and ecosystem tools.
- Provide guidance on automation, deployment processes, and environment management practices.
- Conduct current-state assessments and identify governance improvement opportunities.
- Develop governance documentation, workflows, user stories, and configuration specifications.
- Validate governance solutions and support testing activities.
- Deliver knowledge transfer sessions, training materials, and transition plans.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support pilot implementations and enterprise rollout planning.
- Ensure long-term sustainability, scalability, and adoption of governance solutions.
Should Have:
- Experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog integration.
- Understanding of Lakehouse architecture.
- Knowledge of Medallion architecture concepts.
- Experience implementing enterprise data lineage solutions.
- Experience implementing data quality frameworks and monitoring programs.
- Familiarity with data privacy, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and deployment best practices.
- Experience establishing project governance frameworks and delivery methodologies.

Qualification And Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant data governance, data management, or enterprise architecture certifications are preferred.
