Job Details:

Full-time
Entry Level

What if your next maintenance role came with real variety, a team that has your back, and an employer that genuinely wants you to keep learning?
In this role, you are the person production counts on. One shift you are completing planned maintenance on conveyors and hoists, the next you are tracking down the root cause of a hydraulic or pneumatic fault and getting the line back up. When a part is not on the shelf, you fabricate it. Your work has an immediate, visible impact on uptime and output.
You will do it in an environment that fosters continuous learning, encourages technicians to build their knowledge through workshops and technical learning, and treats the maintenance department as one team working together to exceed daily targets.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
Plenty of maintenance roles keep you on the same few machines. This one does not.
You will build hands-on depth across a wide range of equipment:
  • engines and motors
  • pneumatic controls and hydraulics
  • conveyors, hoists and lifts
  • heat sealers, punches and dies
  • blending and deburring equipment
  • both OEM and internally modified production equipment
  • facilities systems like compressed air lines and chillers
You will work alongside external OEM and third-party service technicians. That gives you exposure to specialist expertise and the chance to take the lead when they are on site.
The operation runs under ISO 9001 and FSSC food-safety standards. That gives you experience in a regulated, quality-driven environment that is valued across the industry.
Work orders, parts, and time are managed through MaintainX, so you use modern mobile tools instead of chasing paperwork.
Culturally, this is a team where asking for support is encouraged, shift handoffs are taken seriously, and successes are celebrated together.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Keep production running through planned maintenance and fast, accurate break/fix repairs on industrial production equipment
  • Diagnose root cause across engines, motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyors, hoists and lifts, heat sealers, punches and dies, electrical systems, and blending and deburring equipment
  • Fabricate light parts so repairs and replacements are completed on time
  • Maintain facility systems including compressed air lines and chiller equipment
  • Host and supervise external third-party and OEM service technicians while they are on site
  • Support quality and continuous improvement by following QMS policies, procedures, and ISO work instructions
  • Keep a clear record of every job in MaintainX, including start and stop times, parts used, irregularities, and status
  • Hand off work in progress cleanly to the next shift so nothing falls through the cracks
What We're Looking For
  • 5 to 10 years of experience working with industrial mechanical equipment
  • A solid, logical troubleshooting approach that gets to root cause quickly
  • Basic electrical experience, such as changing industrial battery packs, replacing coils and valves, and disconnecting and connecting motors
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, diagrams, drawings, and schematics
  • Comfort documenting work promptly using a phone, tablet, and maintenance software
  • Ability to use hand and power tools and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Your own basic tools to start
  • Ability to work overtime when needed to complete a job and to be on call at times on off-shifts
  • A service-first attitude toward the production operations you support
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive, cross-functional team, with the judgment to ask for support before struggling too long
Bonus Points If You Bring
  • Experience with older industrial processing equipment
  • A background in printing, extrusion, lamination, or converting environments
  • Welding experience
  • MaintainX experience
  • A talent for safe short-term emergency fixes on off-shifts
  • Strong communication skills that help build a collaborative team
Compensation & Work Model
Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the screening process. This is a hands-on, onsite role that includes overtime as required and on-call coverage at times on off-shifts.
