About the Opportunity
Premier Workforce is recruiting for a Sales & Business Development Representative on behalf of a growing technology and IT solutions company expanding its presence in Canada.Our client provides IT hardware, technology products, and solutions to commercial and public-sector customers and works with leading manufacturers and distribution partners.The company is looking for a motivated sales professional in the Greater Vancouver area who can help develop new accounts, build customer relationships, and establish a stronger presence throughout British Columbia and Western Canada.This is primarily a new business development / hunter role. The successful candidate will be comfortable prospecting, making outbound calls, developing relationships, identifying opportunities, preparing quotes, and following opportunities through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new customers throughout Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, and Western Canada.
- Conduct proactive outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, and in-person relationship building.
- Develop relationships with IT managers, procurement teams, purchasing departments, business owners, and other decision-makers.
- Identify opportunities for IT hardware, networking, AV, security, and related technology products and solutions.
- Respond to RFQs and customer quote requests.
- Follow up consistently on quotes, opportunities, and prospective accounts.
- Develop commercial and public-sector accounts, including businesses, schools, municipalities, healthcare organizations, and other institutions.
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of new opportunities.
- Work closely with internal sales, purchasing, and operations teams to support customers.
- Help establish and grow the company's presence in the Canadian market.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or technology sales.
- Strong prospecting and new-account development skills.
- Familiarity with the Greater Vancouver and British Columbia business market.
- Experience in IT, technology, MSP, VAR, telecom, AV, security, office technology, or a related industry is preferred.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and developing business from the ground up.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Existing commercial or public-sector relationships in British Columbia are a plus.
Compensation
Competitive base compensation plus commission/performance incentives. Compensation will be based on experience and the candidate's background.
