We are seeking a Food Counter Attendant to support quick-service restaurant, fast food, and ice cream operations. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, or Food Service Manager, this role provides friendly, efficient service during all-day operations and rotating shifts, with opportunities to advance into shift lead and supervisor positions.
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous customer service and take accurate orders.
- Prepare food and ice cream items according to established standards.
- Assemble orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash and operate the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain attractive food displays and replenish stock as needed.
- Clean and maintain the dining area.
- Follow food safety procedures throughout all service activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of food counter service experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with cash handling and POS operation.
- Knowledge of food safety and food preparation practices.
- Strong attention to order accuracy.
- Experience with inventory replenishment.
- Customer service and verbal communication skills.
