Immediate Hiring - Carpenter in Edmonton, AB

We're looking for a motivated, dependable Carpenter to join our Edmonton team. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work safely and efficiently both independently and as part of a crew.

Responsibilities

  • Perform framing, rough and finish carpentry, and general construction work.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other building materials.
  • Install doors, windows, trim, siding, decking, and other building components as required.
  • Complete repairs, renovations, and general carpentry tasks.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, levels, and other construction equipment safely.
  • Perform accurate measurements and ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
  • Assist with material handling, site preparation, and general construction activities.
  • Identify and report material, quality, or safety issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow project schedules, site procedures, and company safety policies.
  • Work collaboratively with carpenters, laborers, supervisors, and other trades.

Qualifications

  • Previous carpentry or construction experience required.
  • Experience with framing, finishing, renovations, or general construction is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and measurements.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and construction methods.
  • Good problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Physically able to lift materials, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and perform manual construction work.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and respiratory mask fit test.
