Production Associate – Swole Bears

Location: Mount Uniacke, NS (Pending Facility Opening)

Swole Bears is a fast-growing Nova Scotia food company making high-protein gummy bears. We're looking for 3 Production Associates to join our team as we scale our manufacturing facility.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing company from the beginning and help scale production across Atlantic Canada.

Responsibilities

During your first month, you'll be trained in:

• Removing gummy bears from molds (demolding)
• Inspecting products for quality
• Weighing and packaging finished products
• Heat sealing bags
• Applying labels and lot codes
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and workstations
• Following food safety and sanitation procedures

As you become comfortable with production, you'll also be trained to:

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes
• Operate commercial cooking equipment
• Cook and mix batches of gummy bears
• Monitor temperatures, weights, and production records

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Comfortable lifting up to 25 kg (55 lb)
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to follow written procedures accurately
• Food manufacturing or kitchen experience is an asset, but not required
• Food Handler Certification is an asset (training can be provided)
• Good hand eye coordination
