Role Overview

We are seeking a senior Salesforce Enterprise Architect for a high-visibility contract engagement with a prominent Toronto-based organization.

In this role, you will serve as the lead technical architect on a multi-phase digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing core stakeholder portals, digital services, and backend enterprise integrations. Working closely with delivery leadership and client IT stakeholders, you will own technical solution design, steer upcoming major releases, and help establish long-term architectural stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Own the end-to-end technical solution architecture, ensuring alignment across Salesforce products, enterprise integrations, and security standards.
• Portal & User Experience: Lead the architectural strategy for enterprise Experience Cloud implementations, balancing out-of-the-box capabilities with custom Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Enterprise Integration & Data: Oversee integration patterns between Salesforce, backend systems, middleware, and identity/access management solutions (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Salesforce Identity).
• Delivery & Governance: Collaborate closely with cross-functional delivery teams (Scrum Masters, Developers, Engagement Leads) to govern sprint deliverables, manage technical risk, and drive successful release deployments.
• Stakeholder Advisory: Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding business and IT leadership through complex requirements and translating them into scalable technical designs.

Candidate Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years of enterprise Salesforce architecture experience, with a proven track record leading complex, multi-cloud implementations.
• Core Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud, custom LWC frameworks, data modeling, and enterprise API integration patterns.
• Security & Identity: Solid understanding of identity/access management, SSO protocols, and external user licensing models.
• Delivery & Governance: Proven experience stepping into active Agile/Scrum delivery environments and driving release governance.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trust and guide senior client stakeholders.
• Location: Based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with flexibility for 2 days/week on-site in Downtown Toronto.
