Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize our data infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for creating robust data pipelines, managing cloud-based data warehouses, and transforming raw data into high-quality, actionable datasets. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure our data architecture supports scaling business needs and advanced analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines to ingest structured and unstructured data from various disparate sources.
- Infrastructure Management: Build and optimize the company's core big data architecture, including cloud storage platforms and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift).
- Data Modeling: Design optimized database schemas and data models tailored for analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and fine-tune data processes to resolve performance bottlenecks and minimize downtime.
- Data Quality & Governance: Implement testing frameworks, validation checks, and security protocols to ensure data privacy, accuracy, and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, and data analytics teams to translate business requirements into highly functional technical data solutions.
