What are the Responsibilities?
As Manager, Reliability, you'll be the go-to leader for equipment availability and asset performance across multiple sites. You'll partner with site leadership to find the gaps, build the improvement plans, and deliver measurable results across maintenance, reliability, and asset care. You'll also drive a reliability culture that sticks.
Day to day:
- Drive reliability strategy, performance, and continuous improvement across 4–5 sites as a key member of site leadership
- Act as an agent of positive change, working alongside plant and maintenance leadership to refine, enhance, and improve reliability programs
- Identify asset care and reliability gaps, then build and execute tactical improvement plans
- Strengthen work management: planning, scheduling, and reduction of reactive maintenance
- Optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies using data analysis and reliability tools
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions that improve asset performance
- Support capital planning and reliability-focused project execution
- Optimize inventory and storeroom operations, including spare parts strategy and SAP data accuracy
- Track and report on downtime, maintenance costs, and equipment reliability
- Support outage planning, turnaround execution, and startup activities
- Coach and develop site teams to build reliability capability and culture
- Manage vendors and predictive maintenance service providers to ensure quality support
- Travel regularly (approximately 50%) to support sites and ensure alignment with corporate standards
What are the Requirements?
- 15+ years leading maintenance and reliability with industrial production facilities
- Strong experience with predictive maintenance technologies and reliability strategies
- Advanced knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance and inventory management processes
- Proven ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and improve performance across multiple sites
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Willingness to travel approximately 50%
- A genuine commitment to safe food, food safety culture, and regulatory compliance
Bonus Points For:
- Prior regional reliability experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Certifications in vibration analysis, infrared, oil analysis, or SMRP
- French language capability desirable, not required
