Licensed Millwright

We are looking for a licensed millwright in Woodstock! This is a full-time, long-term job opportunity with a great company! The pay rate for this position starts at $42.90/hour, and we pay weekly every Friday!

Responsibilities include:

• Use of hand and power tools to expedite repairs, installation, and maintenance of plant equipment
• Use and setup of shop power machinery, lathes, milling machines, saws, drills, and grinders
• Understanding of bearing selection, inspections, lubrication, fitting, and replacements
• Install belts, chains, pulleys, material handling devices; inspect, align, and maintain
• Install keys, splines, shafting, speed reducers, brakes, couplings, clutches, and drive systems
• Maintain compressors, dryers, filters, coolers, separators, receivers, and water pumps
• Layout and fabrication of various materials, including MIG/TIG and arc welding
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot pneumatic valves, actuators, control systems, and PLCs
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, including valves, pumps, filter/strainers, flow control, proportional valves, actuators, servo controls, and PLCs

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Maintenance Millwright certificate of qualification (Ontario)
• Must have a minimum of two years of practical experience
• Understand and interpret schematic drawings and symbols, as well as manufacturers' manuals, specifications, and logic diagrams for pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Read, write, and understand specific work instructions and procedures
• Advanced training and understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, or PLC
• First aid certified
• A valid driver's license
