Welder

We're hiring Welders in Windsor!

• Full-time, permanent positions
• Starting at $24/hr, negotiable based on experience
• Rotating day and afternoon shifts

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret welding blueprints, technical drawings, specifications and work instructions
• Operate manual, semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment
• Perform MIG, TIG, flux core and multi-pass welding on metal components
• Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment
• Fabricate, assemble and repair metal parts and products according to specifications
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with required standards
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and quality control requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of welding experience
• Experience with MIG welding preferred
• Knowledge of TIG, flux core and multi-pass welding techniques
• Current welding certification required; CWB certification preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and welding specifications
• Experience operating manual and automated welding equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, speak and understand English to safely follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling and standing for extended periods
