Designer - Quotation Specialist

Our client is seeking a Designer / Quotation Specialist to create storage equipment layouts, prepare 3D floor plans, and develop accurate project quotes for the sales team. You will work with architects, interior designers, furniture dealers, and sales representatives to develop space-planning solutions and determine product placement. Training will be provided on the company's custom 3D design software.

Responsibilities:

• Create floor plans, storage equipment layouts, and 3D renderings using custom design software.
• Review drawing requests and determine appropriate product placement.
• Calculate project costs and prepare detailed pricing and quotations based on layouts.
• Review contract documentation to support accurate designs and quotes.
• Deliver completed drawings and quotations to the sales team.
• Communicate with architects, interior designers, furniture dealers, and customers across North America.
• Collaborate regularly with sales representatives and attend occasional site visits.
• Identify and track project opportunities through online platforms.

Qualifications:

• Education in design and/or engineering, with experience using drawing software.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
• Strong math skills for pricing, cost calculations, and detailed quotations.
• Clear written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple project requests.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Configura, SketchUp, Revit.
