Automotive Used Car Manager

A successful western GTA import franchised dealership is looking for an experienced Used Car Manager to join our team.

Our Managers are an integral part of our day-to-day business. The Used Car Manager is responsible for the ethical operation of the department.

Duties

• · Recruit, hire, train, and effectively manage the used vehicle sales team.
• · Coach sales staff on best practices for closing sales and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
• · Maintain Toyota University standards for self and team.
• · Assist the sales team in closing sales where required.
• · Maintain a strong focus on the satisfaction of all customers.
• · Resolve customer complaints (regardless of department).
• · Forecast sales for the year with monthly and quarterly breakdowns.
• · Manage CRM to retain customers and seek out new prospective sales.
• · Manage pre-owned inventory valuation, sales and purchasing.
• · Manage the Department budget including both sales and expenses with particular focus on reconditioning.
• · Compile regular reports for dealership management.
• · Work with the New Car Manager to ensure a healthy symbiotic relationship between the two sales departments.
• · Manage advertising and Marketing of the department.
• · Understand and comply with federal and provincial regulations that affect car sales and ensure they are followed by all sales staff.
• · Other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Vice President.

What We Look For:

• 3-5 years experience as a Used Car Manager.

• Good time and people management skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Valid Driver's License (Class G) with a clean driving record.

• Able to work well with a team.

• A desire to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork.

Pay:

$100,000+ OTE

Language Requirement:

• English

• French not required

Licence/Certifications Required:

• OMVIC

• Driving Licence (in good standing)

Ability to Commute:

• West Toronto, ON (required)
