Class 1 Driver ! $27/Hr

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Class 1 Drivers to join our client out of Beechville, NS. This is a great opportunity to work for a top fleet employer! The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting various materials safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various types of freight.

Job Description:

• Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays - Day shift
• Most runs are home every night, with the exception of Newfoundland runs
• Driver has the option to haul local or regional
  • For local runs, it is recommended that the driver takes the load the night before and sleeps in the sleeper berth (not mandatory)
• $27/hour for local work
• $0.51/mile for regional work plus drops and pickups
• Automatic, dedicated truck
• Driver will be required to certify for port deliveries (arranged and paid for by the company)
• Most deliveries are from port to warehouse and warehouse to customer
• General freight, mostly container work
• Occasional flatbed and/or train work

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of verifiable Class 1 experience
• Current clean abstract
• Valid Class 1 License
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Must be able to provide a reference to verify at least 3 years of experience
