Brake Press Operator: Afternoons

Summary: The Brake Press Operator uses CNC hydraulic press brakes to bend steel parts into various shapes based on customer drawings.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with the Rights Responsibilities for All Employees listed in the Employee Handbook.
• Setup, operate, and troubleshoot CNC hydraulic press brakes.
• Complete work according to Forming schedule or as instructed by Supervisor.
• Process parts according to instructions listed on Forming work order/drawings.
• Perform material handling activities manually and using overhead crane.
• Perform required equipment, safety, and quality inspections.
• Generate NCR (non-conformance report) for parts that are not to standard.
• Complete necessary paperwork when required.
• Demonstrate safe work habits at all times.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and report maintenance issues as needed.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Comply with our Client's quality system requirements as documented through the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
• Comply with our Client's Environmental Management System (EMS) based on the ISO 14001:2015 standard.
