Bellabee Childcare has been providing high quality childcare in West Vancouver since 1997. We operate 2 small, boutique style childcare centres, and we invest in a 'child and educator first' philosophy. Our educators well being, and the children's health+ safety, is our top priority. We are currently seeking an amazing Infant Toddler Educator to join our team at our Gordon House location. Our program is located in a cozy building in the heart of West Vancouver, and we are licensed for 8 infant/toddlers and 12 preschoolers.

The Ideal Candidate will:
- Hold a valid BC ECE, or Infant/Toddler, license to practice.
- Hold a valid 1st Aid + CPR Certificate.
- Consent to a Criminal Record check.
- Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach.
- Have a passion for ongoing growth and professional development.
- Be flexible, punctual, and be a positive team player.
- Uses both music and humour as positive teaching tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with the children & their families.
- Create curriculum, and develop Pedagogical Documentation.
- Work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.
- Show creativity, enthusiasm, and a sincere passion for the field of Early Childhood Care + Education.
- Ability to work individually when needed.
- Create & Implement age appropriate provocations and documentation to further develop the wonder of exploration.
- Enjoy the outdoors; we love to spend time exploring and walking in our neighbourhood.
- Displays strong communication and writing skills.
Compensation:
- $29.00-$31.00 per hour (which includes 6$ Wage Enhancement).
- 6% vacation pay will be added to each pay period.
- 1 'bonus' week paid summer break.
- Flexibility and support for extended vacation time.
- Rotating shifts between 7:45am-5:15pm (Centre is open 7:45am-5:00pm).
- 7.5 hours direct service ~ 1/2 hour paid break + 1/2 hour unpaid break.
