Roof Truss Assembly

Assignment employees will be working in a manufacturing environment building roof trusses. Responsibilities include:

• Assembling roof and floor trusses according to plans and direction of the supervisor.
• Building trusses according to order specifications and truss description.
• Gathering materials and bringing them to the designated workstation for assembly.

You will be using hammers, nails, and wood to perform these tasks, and training is provided. Work tables are set up with laser light guides. The laser acts as templates to show where the wood needs to be lined up and where the nails are to be placed. Note on shop drawings any changes.

Our client is looking for someone who would like to start in assembly and train up to the saws. Once fully trained, it does come with a pay increase.

Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Repetitive hammering.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required throughout the shift.
• Ability to read blueprints is an asset.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• Hours: 5:45 AM - 3:00 PM

Compensation: $20/hr
