AWMAC BC is the leading industry association representing the architectural woodwork industry in British Columbia. We support excellence in manufacturing, industry standards, quality assurance, and professional collaboration throughout the province.

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Office & Program Coordinator to support the daily operations of the organization and assist in the coordination of our programs, events, and administrative functions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work, takes pride in keeping operations organized and running smoothly, communicates professionally, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a small-office environment.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Office & Program Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support across a wide range of organizational activities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Executive Director and office team
- Coordinate programs, meetings, and events, ensuring smooth execution
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and administrative systems
- Support internal workflows and assist with process improvements
- Coordinate member communications and administrative aspects of association programs
- Support the administration of membership records and related processes
- Assist with general office operations and coordination tasks as needed
- Assisting the Executive Director and office staff with additional coordination and administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational ability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Qualifications include:
- Post-secondary education in administration, business, communications, or a related field is considered an asset
- Experience in an administrative, coordination, or office support role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities
- Professional handling of confidential or sensitive information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with bookkeeping or accounting software is considered an asset
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems
- Experience in the construction, manufacturing, or association/non-profit sector is considered an asset

- Full-time
- 12 month contract with the possibility of extending
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- On-site position located in Burnaby, BC
