Advisory Board Member
Our client is seeking an Advisory Board Member to provide strategic guidance and practical operational insight as the business continues to scale its manufacturing and field service operations. This advisory position will focus on improving efficiency, increasing capacity, strengthening manufacturing and service integration, and supporting sustainable year-over-year growth. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned industrial leader with deep manufacturing expertise, strong financial acumen, and the ability to translate strategy into practical recommendations.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:

• Advise on manufacturing efficiency, capacity utilization, throughput, and operational performance
• Identify opportunities to reduce downtime, waste, costs, and production variability
• Provide guidance on scalable processes, systems, workforce planning, and capital investments
• Review operational metrics and recommend strategies that support growth and margin improvement
• Strengthen alignment between manufacturing capabilities and field service requirements
• Provide insight on supply chain resilience, risk management, safety, and regulatory considerations
• Guide continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma, automation, and digitization
• Provide independent advice to ownership and mentor management on operational excellence
• Participate in advisory meetings and provide additional consultation as business needs arise

Your strengths include:

• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or industrial leadership
• Proven experience scaling manufacturing operations and improving operational performance
• Background in energy, natural gas, oil and gas, or heavy industry considered a strong asset
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing systems, process optimization, and continuous improvement
• Strong financial acumen related to cost management, ROI, and capital allocation
• Ability to provide practical strategic guidance and influence senior leadership
• Strong analytical, communication, and advisory skills
• Previous board or advisory experience considered an asset
• Availability to participate in regular advisory meetings and periodic consultations, approximately 45 to 60 days per year
