Certified Double Deep Reach Forklift Operator – Production Location: Brampton, ON
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $24.39/hour

Fuze HR Solutions is currently hiring an experienced Certified Double Deep Reach Forklift Operator to join the Production Department of a well-established global manufacturer of construction materials in Brampton.
This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity for an experienced MHE operator who is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Toyota Double Deep / High Reach forklift safely and efficiently
• Move and replenish raw materials within production and warehouse areas
• Load and unload materials as required
• Complete put-aways and organize materials in designated storage locations
• Support production by ensuring materials are available when required
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections
• Assist with inventory counts and material tracking
• Perform general production and warehouse duties when required, including hand-packing, cleaning, sweeping, cutting bags, loading hoppers, and palletizing
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work collaboratively with production and warehouse team members

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Double Deep Reach forklift experience
• Must have experience operating a Toyota Double Deep / High Reach
• Valid Double Deep Reach Forklift Certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to provide a clear criminal background check
• WHMIS certification required
• Health & Safety 4 Steps certification required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Comfortable with prolonged standing and physically demanding work
• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Good attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
• Inventory or warehouse systems experience is an asset

Work Authorization Requirement
Candidates must have a minimum of Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) status to be considered for this temp-to-permanent opportunity.
Working Environment This is an active manufacturing environment that can be very dusty and loud. Candidates must be comfortable working around construction-related products, including adhesives, sealants, and other materials.
Candidates should not have sensitivities or allergies that would prevent them from safely working in a dusty environment.
Required PPE may include:

• Steel-toed safety shoes
• N95 mask
• Safety gloves
• Apron and/or protective arm sleeves
• Other PPE as required by the facility

The position also involves regular physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, material handling, and general production support. Assessment & Hiring Process
Qualified candidates will complete an on-site practical forklift assessment to demonstrate that they can safely and confidently operate the Double Deep Reach.
Candidates must successfully demonstrate the required forklift skills to continue in the assignment. A math assessment will also be required as part of the consideration process for permanent employment.
This position has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate based on performance, attendance, and overall fit; however, permanent employment is not guaranteed.
