Sr. FP&A Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Pizza Hut Canada is seeking a Sr. FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role will provide dedicated FP&A capacity for the Canada business, with primary ownership of the recurring planning, forecasting and performance management processes. The role will build and coordinate the annual operating plan (AOP) and market growth plan (MGP), own forecast mechanics and model maintenance, manage budget versus actuals reporting, and maintain the G&A and profit outlook for the business.

The successful candidate will be a strong finance partner who combines disciplined FP&A execution with sound business judgment. They will work closely with functional leaders, Control and Shared Services to ensure plans and forecasts are accurate, risks and opportunities are visible, and leadership has a clear view of business performance. The role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, urgency and a continuous improvement mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning, Forecasting and Target Setting

• Build and coordinate the annual operating plan (AOP), market growth plan (MGP) and quarterly forecast processes for Pizza Hut Canada, ensuring assumptions, timelines and submissions are complete and accurate.

• Own forecasting mechanics and maintain the core financial models, assumptions and schedules supporting system sales, restaurant count, G&A, profit and other key P&L lines.

• Partner with the Head of Commercial Finance and functional leaders to translate business plans and agreed targets into financial forecasts and outlooks.

• Support target-setting and the ongoing performance cadence by preparing financial views, sensitivities and scenarios that highlight gaps, risks and opportunities to plan.

• Continuously improve planning tools and processes to make forecasting more efficient, consistent and easy to maintain.

Performance Reporting and P&L Management

• Own recurring budget versus actuals and forecast versus actuals reporting, partnering with Control to understand monthly results and explain material variances.

• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting for the Pizza Hut Canada Leadership Team, clearly highlighting key drivers, risks, opportunities and required follow-up actions.

• Maintain a clear view of Canada business performance across system sales, SSSG, SSTG, restaurant count, G&A, profit and other key financial and operating measures.

• Support the monthly and quarterly P&L cadence, ensuring actual performance, forecast changes and outlook implications are reflected consistently in leadership reporting.

• Act as the in-market FP&A liaison for actual reporting and work closely with Control and Shared Services to resolve reporting issues and maintain alignment between actuals and forecast views.
