POWERGROUP Resources on behalf of our client Cornell Feenstra Electric Ltd. is seeking a Electrical Estimator who is passionate about the electrical industry and eager to contribute to high-quality residential and commercial projects across Ontario. What you will do

Prepare accurate electrical cost estimates for residential and commercial projects.
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project scopes to determine labor, material, and time requirements.
Assist in preparing bid proposals and tracking project costs.
Source and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
Collaborate with project managers, senior estimators, and clients to refine estimates and ensure project efficiency.
Stay up to date on Ontario Electrical Safety Code and industry best practices.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably in residential and commercial projects.

Experience with takeoffs and bid preparation for residential and commercial electrical jobs.
Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Familiarity with estimating software such as Accubid, Trimble, or similar.
Experience in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
Experience sourcing and evaluating pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
Ontario 309A Electrical License (or working towards it) is an asset.
