Injection Molding Team Lead
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay: $20.40/hour
Location: Martingrove Rd & Steeles Ave West, Richmond Hill, ON Overtime opportunities available on weekends.
We are looking for a hands-on Injection Molding Team Lead to help oversee day-to-day floor operations. You will guide the production team, keep quality and safety on track, and act as the main point of contact on the floor.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the injection molding team on work instructions and process
• Oversee day-to-day injection molding operations and the production schedule
• Serve as the primary point of contact on the floor when the supervisor is unavailable
• Train new staff on machine operation and safety procedures
• Manage documentation, including inspection lists and traceability/production records
• Monitor quality standards throughout the shift and address deviations promptly
• Notify the supervisor immediately of any near-miss or injury, no matter how slight
• Support a safe, productive, and organized work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Previous manufacturing or leadership experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate hand/power tools
• Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors
• Certifications: Certification relevant to the specific equipment operated is an asset (site training provided).
