Manual Skilled Machine Operator – CNC Experience an Asset Location: North York, ON
Pay Rate: $18-23 per hour Day Shift: Monday to Friday – 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM
Saturday Overtime: Required during peak season
Job Summary We are hiring an experienced Skilled Machine Operator for a manufacturing facility in North York. We are looking for candidates with 2+ years of hands-on experience operating and setting up manual manufacturing machinery. Experience with CNC/NC machinery is an asset, but the primary focus is on strong manual machine operation, adjustments, tooling changes, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual manufacturing machinery
• Make machine adjustments and perform tooling changes
• Operate and monitor CNC/NC equipment as required
• Troubleshoot basic machine and production issues
• Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and specifications
• Use calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools for quality checks
• Complete production documentation and computer data entry
• Perform basic machine maintenance
• Follow safety procedures, PPE, SOPs, and 5S standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on manual machine operating experience
• Experience with machine setup, adjustments, and tooling changes
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read production drawings and blueprints
• Experience using basic measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures
• Basic computer skills
• CNC/NC experience is an asset
• High School Diploma or equivalent
