Position Overview Fuze HR Solutions is currently recruiting a Walkie Operator / Order Picker for a well-established automotive parts distribution facility in Mississauga.
This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity for a dependable and motivated individual with previous warehouse/order-picking experience who is interested in developing hands-on material handling equipment experience.
A valid Walkie certification is required; however, previous Walkie operating experience is not required. The client is willing to train the right candidate.
The successful candidate will initially work as an Order Picker/General Labourer, manually picking automotive parts using a pushcart or pump truck. During the first few weeks, the focus will be on learning the inventory, automotive parts, picking locations, and warehouse processes.
Once comfortable with the operation and after completing the required training, the candidate will transition to operating an Electric Walkie Rider.

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Candidates must have the flexibility to work overtime when required, particularly on weekends.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick automotive parts and customer orders using an RF scanner
- Perform manual order picking using a pushcart or pump truck during the initial training period
- Learn automotive parts, inventory locations, and warehouse picking procedures
- Transition to operating an Electric Walkie Rider once training is successfully completed
- Safely move and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Ensure orders are picked accurately and efficiently
- Properly package and label completed orders
- Handle and store automotive parts appropriately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to maintain an efficient workflow
- Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and material-handling requirements
- Work overtime when required, including potential weekend overtime
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must have a valid Walkie/Forklift certification and be able to provide a copy
- Previous Walkie operating experience is not required; training will be provided
- Previous warehouse and manual order-picking experience is strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable performing General Labour and manual picking duties before transitioning to equipment operation
- Must successfully complete a background check prior to onboarding
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and able to stand and remain active throughout the shift
- Able to lift and carry automotive parts and other materials as required
- Must be willing and able to work overtime when required, including weekends
- Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and warehouse procedures
- Must have CSA-approved steel-toe safety shoes
- Clean, organized automotive parts warehouse

- Extend periods of standing, walking, picking, and material handling
