Senior Outsert Technician
Shifts:

• Multiple Shifts Available

Pay: $35.00+/hour
Location: Mississauga, ON
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Important: Previous G&K Outserter experience is required for this position.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Outsert Technician to support pharmaceutical bindery production and quality operations. This senior-level position requires strong hands-on technical expertise, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to provide guidance and support to junior technicians. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced production environment where precision, quality, safety, and consistency are essential.
Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain outsert machinery and related production equipment
• Monitor production output to ensure quality, accuracy, and deadlines are consistently met
• Lead and mentor junior technicians through hands-on training and day-to-day guidance
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor mechanical repairs
• Review job specifications, work orders, and production schedules to prioritize workflow
• Conduct quality control checks on outsert materials before and after application
• Work closely with the Production Supervisor to improve workflow and operational efficiency
• Identify, document, and report equipment faults, safety concerns, and quality issues
• Maintain accurate production records, logs, and shift reports
• Follow all applicable health, safety, environmental, and company procedures

Requirements

• Previous G&K Outserter experience required
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in outsert, print, or packaging production
• Experience operating outsert, inserting, or similar automated production machinery
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of health and safety standards within a manufacturing or production environment
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset
