Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

About the Opportunity Fuze HR Solutions is currently hiring an Inventory Associate for one of our clients in the manufacturing/production industry in Toronto, Ontario.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and confident using computers, particularly Microsoft Excel and email.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day inventory activities and work closely with multiple departments to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are available to support production.
The position will begin on a temporary basis, with the possibility of transitioning to permanent employment based on performance, achievement of required milestones, and ongoing business needs. Permanent employment is not guaranteed.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory tracking
• Perform accurate counts of products, printed materials, corrugate, raw materials, and other inventory
• Enter and maintain inventory information manually using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
• Communicate professionally through email with internal departments
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies
• Assist with investigating and resolving inventory/counting discrepancies
• Monitor materials to help support production requirements
• Assist with tracking incoming materials, finished goods, returns, damaged products, and non-conforming inventory
• Prepare and maintain accurate inventory information and reports
• Work collaboratively with production and other internal departments
• Follow established safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the shift
• Look for opportunities to improve inventory processes and organization

What We're Looking For

• Previous inventory, warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience is preferred
• Strong computer skills and confidence working with Microsoft Excel
• Accurate and efficient data-entry skills
• Strong basic math and counting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable communicating professionally through email
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with multiple departments
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
• Previous GMP/manufacturing experience is considered an asset

Physical Requirements

• Must be comfortable being on your feet for most of the workday
• Must be comfortable handling and counting boxes of products and production materials, including items such as cosmetics, shampoo, printed sheets, and corrugate
• Some materials may be heavier; assistance will be provided for heavier items as required
• Must be comfortable working in an active production/warehouse environment
