Air and Water Balancing - HVAC Technician

This position is open to someone with experience in Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB) or experience working with HVAC Systems. Wage is negotiable and based on experience.

Air Audit Inc. located in Cambridge Ontario is an Industry Leader in the Testing, Adjusting and Balancing of HVAC Systems. Air Audit Inc. is a NEBB Certified Firm. We have an opening for an Experienced Air & Water Balancing Technician or Trainee Position to learn all aspects of the Balancing Industry. Knowledge of Heating and Air Conditioning Systems AND/ OR Knowledge of Commercial Heating and Cooling Piping Systems would be an asset.

Qualifications:

• Post Secondary Diploma
• Valid driver's license and Clean Driving Record
• Clean background check as some facilities require a police clearance letter.
• Writing, oral communication, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking job task planning and organizing.
• Team player, motivated and detail orientated.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings (This would be an asset).
• Ability to work independently

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work in various commercial, industrial, and residential buildings, new construction sites or retrofit buildings, mechanical rooms, confined spaces, hospitals, etc.
• Must be able to lift, move, carry equipment and ladders.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings (This would be an asset)
• Ability to work in an organized environment.
• Good communication/interpersonal skills
