Position Summary We are seeking a Field Coordinator to join the Railings team. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be the link between the job site and the project team. You will attend site meetings, record measurements, inspect work in progress, and keep the Senior Project Manager informed on project status, scope, and schedule. This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in active construction environments. Responsibilities
- Assist with projects assigned by the Senior Project Manager
- Attend site meetings and keep detailed notes of all meetings and discussions
- Review all project elements, including scope of work, special requirements, and lead times
- Visit work sites to inspect assigned projects and update the Senior Project Manager
- Assist with measuring on site and recording measurements accurately
- Other duties as assigned
- Full G licence and a reliable vehicle to travel to job sites
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in note-taking and documentation
- Comfortable using a tape measure and reading drawings
- Experience in field management is an asset
- Experience in the window wall, curtain wall, or railing industry is an asset
- Protective equipment required in designated areas (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed safety shoes)
- May be exposed to heat, humidity, loud noise, and dust
- Travel in various weather conditions may be required
- Work with a specialized team where design, manufacturing, and installation come together
- Gain hands-on exposure to projects from shop drawings through to completed buildings
