Service & Lot Assistant — Bruce Nissan
$18/hour | Full-Time Hours | Six-month Contract | Kentville, NS
Bruce Nissan is looking for a dependable team member to help keep our vehicles, shop and lot ready for the day. You'll detail vehicles, organize and move tires, assist around the shop, and help with lot upkeep. This is a six-month contract with potential for continued employment based on business needs and performance. Previous automotive experience is welcome but isn't required.
- Clean and detail vehicles inside and out
- Load, unload, move and organize tires
- Assist technicians and other team members with general shop duties
- Keep the shop, wash bay, lot and surrounding areas clean and organized
- Move and park vehicles safely throughout the dealership lot
- Help prepare vehicles for customers and dealership use
- Complete seasonal outdoor tasks, including snow removal and lot upkeep
- Perform other general dealership duties as required
- A valid driver's licence and clean driver's abstract
- Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles is considered an asset
- Ability to lift and move tires and perform physically demanding work
- A dependable, positive and team-oriented attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Previous detailing, shop or automotive experience is an asset, but not required
- $18 per hour and full-time hours
