Our client in the building material industry is looking for an accounts payable clerk to join their team. The right candidate will report into the accounting manager and be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Process and code vendor invoices

• Prepare and issue payments (cheque, EFT, credit card)

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain accurate vendor records and files

• Assist with month-end and audit support

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software

• Strong organizational and communication skills
