Seeking: Registered Massage Therapists, Reiki Practitioners, Nutrition Professionals & Holistic Wellness Practitioners

Lemon & Oak Counselling is a 100% Indigenous-owned private practice located on Urban Reserve land in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We are expanding our services and seeking compassionate, dedicated wellness professionals to join our growing multidisciplinary team.

Our approach to wellness recognizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, spirit, relationships, and community. We believe healing happens through connection, compassion, and creating a space where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Positions Available

We are currently seeking independent contractors in the following areas:

  • Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs)

  • Reiki and Energy Healing Practitioners

  • Registered Dietitians and Nutrition Professionals

  • Somatic and Body-Based Therapy Practitioners

  • Art and Expressive Arts Therapists

  • Mindfulness and Meditation Practitioners

  • Occupational Therapists

  • Other qualified holistic health and wellness professionals

We welcome applications from professionals offering additional therapeutic and wellness services that complement our existing mental health services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual wellness services within your professional scope of practice. Couples and family services may be offered where appropriate to your qualifications and professional designation. No group services at this time.

  • Conduct client consultations, assessments, individualized wellness or treatment planning, and progress documentation as appropriate to your professional scope.

  • Apply trauma-informed, culturally responsive, client-centred, and strengths-based approaches to care.

  • Support clients in achieving their physical, emotional, mental, and holistic wellness goals through appropriate therapeutic interventions.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare and wellness professionals, community partners, Elders, and support services when appropriate and with client consent.

  • Maintain confidential, accurate, and timely client records in accordance with applicable professional, ethical, and privacy requirements.

  • Participate in team meetings, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ongoing professional development as appropriate.

  • Maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive, and welcoming therapeutic environment for all clients.

Qualifications

  • Relevant education, certification, diploma, or degree in Registered Massage Therapy, Reiki, Nutrition, Dietetics, Somatic Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or another recognized wellness discipline.

  • Current registration and good standing with the appropriate regulatory or professional body, where applicable.

  • Professional liability insurance appropriate to the services provided.

  • Experience working with Indigenous populations is strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, intergenerational trauma, colonial impacts, and culturally responsive wellness practices is considered an asset.

  • Understanding of professional boundaries, informed consent, confidentiality, and ethical practice.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

  • Commitment to providing inclusive, non-judgmental, and compassionate care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Assets

  • Additional training in trauma-informed bodywork, somatic therapies, mindfulness, holistic nutrition, or other complementary wellness modalities.

  • Experience supporting individuals experiencing chronic stress, trauma-related concerns, physical tension, burnout, grief, or life transitions, within your professional scope of practice.

  • Experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare, wellness, or community-based settings.

  • Knowledge of local Indigenous cultures, languages, traditions, and culturally grounded approaches to wellness.

  • Willingness to engage with Elders, participate in cultural learning, and support culturally responsive practices.

  • Experience supporting clients with disabilities, chronic health conditions, or complex wellness needs within your area of professional expertise.

  • Interest in collaborating with mental health professionals to support whole-person wellness.
