Virtual Commissioning Specialist

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Virtual Commissioning Specialist in Brampton, Ontario. This contract position supports automotive manufacturing automation projects using Siemens Process Simulate and FANUC robots. A computer and required software will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Build complete virtual work cells in Siemens Process Simulate for automotive manufacturing applications.
• Model and simulate FANUC robotic equipment and associated automation.
• Test and validate PLC-to-robot interfaces within the virtual environment.
• Identify and troubleshoot sequencing, communication, and robot simulation issues.
• Collaborate with controls and robotics teams to resolve issues before physical commissioning.
• Document test results, issues, and required changes.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience using Siemens Process Simulate for virtual commissioning in an automotive environment.
• Experience with FANUC robotic manipulators.
• Ability to independently build complete virtual work cells.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting PLC-to-robot interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with engineering teams.
• Availability for a 6–12-month assignment in Brampton, Ontario.
