Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembly Technician Level 2 to join our team. This position requires hands-on assembly of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components as per blueprints, assembly drawings, and procedure manuals.
- Operate pneumatic tools and machines for assembly tasks.
- Perform quality checks on finished products and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Accurately update job schedules and manufacturing status using computer systems.
- Conduct final assembly testing and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following safety protocols and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Mentor and assist junior assembly technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, squatting, and prolonged standing.
- Adhere to all company policies, including timekeeping, attendance, and overtime requirements.
- Experience: 3-5 years in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic assembly or metal fabrication, or equivalent experience.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and assembly instructions.
- Strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to use basic computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, Access) for reporting and schedule updates.
- Familiarity with pneumatic tools is an asset.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Capable of standing, squatting, and bending for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and dexterity.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- A high school diploma or equivalent experience.
