Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week About the Opportunity: Technical Sales Representative – Northern, Ontario We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join a growing industrial distribution team and manage a territory throughout North Bay and Northern Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional who enjoys building customer relationships, developing new business, and working independently within a large territory. The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical/mechanical knowledge, customer service skills, and sales experience. Experience with bearings, motors, power transmission, MRO products, industrial maintenance, mining, drilling, or related products is highly preferred. What You'll Be Doing: Technical Sales Representative – Northern, Ontario
- Develop and grow new and existing customer accounts throughout the territory
- Prospect for new business through cold calling, referrals, research, and customer visits
- Conduct approximately 10 sales calls per week
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Meet customers face-to-face and provide technical product solutions
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate industrial products
- Follow up on quotes, opportunities, projects, and customer requests
- Research new accounts and identify opportunities for territory growth
- Manage customer projects from initial contact through completion
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information within the CRM
- Work closely with internal sales and branch teams to support customers
- Plan and organize your own weekly schedule and territory activities
- Travel throughout Northern Ontario as required

- Sales experience in an industrial, technical, or B2B environment
- Strong mechanical or technical aptitude
- Experience with bearings, motors, power transmission, MRO, or industrial products is an asset
- Experience in maintenance, millwright, manufacturing, mining, drilling, or a related industry is highly valued
- Strong prospecting and business-development skills
- Comfortable with cold calling and developing new accounts
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Reliable with strong follow-through
- Comfortable using CRM systems and technology
- Willing and able to travel throughout the territory
