DRM Ltd. (Deep Reduction Mechanical) is seeking highly skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanics to join our team. This role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various heavy machinery and industrial equipment. We work with advanced mechanical systems, electrical components, and automation technologies in a fast-paced environment. We offer the opportunity to work out of town in our service trucks on a wide range of construction equipment. Responsibilities:
-Perform CVIP inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles, industrial machinery, and equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend operational lifespan.
-Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and analysis skills.
-Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, pumps, valves, and electrical systems with precision and efficiency.
-Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and other software to track maintenance activities and troubleshoot issues.
-Conduct welding, boiler repairs, HVAC servicing, and other specialized tasks to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
-Interpret technical schematics and manuals to accurately identify problems and implement effective solutions.
-Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols.
Requirements:

-Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or in industrial maintenance within manufacturing or similar environments.
-Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience, including low voltage systems.
-Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, PLCs, CMMS platforms, and troubleshooting analysis techniques.
-Skilled in welding, boiler maintenance, HVAC systems, and general industrial electrician practices.
-Ability to read technical manuals and schematics fluently in English; excellent communication skills are essential.
-Demonstrated customer service orientation with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure.
-Knowledge of safety standards related to industrial maintenance including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Our shop is located 10 minutes South of Spruce Grove so reliable transportation is necessary. Journeypersons and Apprentices welcome, salary will be based on experience.
