Summary:

The Operator - Hybrid Module Assembly & Integration is responsible for assembling electronic and mechanical components with precision and care, following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings. Working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment, the assembler ensures quality, consistency, and adherence to safety and production standards. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and experience working with small parts or electronic components.

Responsibilities:

(1) Assembly of hybrid circuits according to a defined drawing package

(2) Accurate manual placement of VERY SMALL semiconductor dice using a microscope

(3) Operation of automated die assembly machines

(4) Manual gold wire bonding

(5) Operation of automated wire-bonding and epoxy dispensing machines

(6) Visual quality check using a microscope

Education:

Completion of High School

Skills/Requirements:

(1) Excellent hand/eye coordination

(2) Ability to work with a microscope for full 8 hour days

(3) Ability to use tweezers to manipulate semiconductor devices which are VERY SMALL (less than 0.005 inch) for a full 8-10 hour shift

(4) Ability to read understand detailed work instructions written in English

(5) Ability to do overtime when necessary

(6) Ability to meet daily expected manufacturing targets, given the appropriate tools and materials

The following experience would be definite assets:

(1) Experience working in a cleanroom

(2) Knowledge of MIL standards used in the manufacture of hybrid circuits

(3) Experience in assembling semiconductor devices

(4) Good interpersonal skills with ability to work with international colleagues
