Manufacturing Manager
Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to provide leadership across production operations while ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of products. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, supporting business growth, and developing a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing leadership experience, a hands-on approach, and a passion for operational excellence.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Lead production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets
  • Develop production plans that align resources, capacity, and customer requirements
  • Monitor operational performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability
  • Support workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation across manufacturing operations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and operations teams to improve performance and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide recommendations to support business objectives
  • Champion workplace safety and promote a culture of accountability and engagement
  • Lead, coach, and develop employees to support individual and team success
Your strengths include:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, manufacturing operations, and process improvement
  • Experience leading teams and driving performance in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Experience using ERP, MRP, or other manufacturing systems
  • Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Experience within machining, hydraulics, or a related industrial environment considered an asset
  • Journeyman Machinist certification considered an asset
