Farm Machinery Operator

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable Farm Machinery Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain farm equipment used for soil preparation, planting, cultivating, harvesting, loading, and general farm work. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, comfortable working outdoors, and able to work long hours during busy seasons.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate tractors, harvesters, loaders, sprayers, seeders, tillage equipment, and other farm machinery as required.

· Prepare fields, plant crops, cultivate, harvest, load, unload, and move farm products and materials.

· Complete routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance on equipment.

· Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions, damage, or repair needs promptly.

· Follow all farm safety procedures and operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

· Assist with general farm duties when equipment operation is not required.

· Keep work areas, machinery, tools, and storage areas organized and clean.

Qualifications

· Previous experience operating farm machinery, tractors, or heavy equipment is preferred.

· Farm Experience preferred

· Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment maintenance skills are an asset.

· Valid driver's license required; additional equipment certifications are an asset.

· Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

· Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team.

· Availability to work extended hours, weekends, or seasonal overtime during planting and harvest periods.
