Pay Rate: $110-125/hr Incorp for 7.25 hrs a day

We are seeking an experienced Azure Integration Developer to join a Systems Integration Services team supporting the modernization of clinical information systems across New Brunswick.

The successful candidate will design, develop, document, implement, test, troubleshoot, and support integration solutions connecting clinical information systems, ancillary applications, databases, and other enterprise systems. Solutions will primarily be built and maintained using Microsoft Azure Integration Services.

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Azure integration solutions.
• Develop integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, App Services, Event Grid, Containers, and AKS.
• Develop solutions using C# and .NET.
• Integrate cloud-based applications with on-premises databases, network shares, and enterprise systems.
• Develop and support HL7 v2.x and/or FHIR healthcare integrations.
• Implement data validation, transformation, routing, and messaging patterns.
• Design solutions for high-volume messaging, large message sizes, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Implement secure integration solutions, including authentication, encryption, secrets, and credential management.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and deployment frameworks such as ARM and Bicep.
• Develop monitoring, logging, diagnostics, and alerting solutions for Azure integrations.
• Create technical architecture and design documentation.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, QA teams, and technical stakeholders.
• Participate in status meetings and provide technical updates.

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of IM/IT experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, including several of:
  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure App Services
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Azure API Management
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Containers
  • Event Grid
  • On-premises Data Gateway
• 5+ years of experience with C# and .NET development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Candidates with the following experience will be highly relevant to the role:

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, ARM, and Bicep.
• Designing scalable and fault-tolerant Azure integration solutions.
• Developing high-volume and large-message integration solutions, including HL7 and/or EDI.
• Hybrid Azure integrations involving on-premises databases, network shares, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with ExpressRoute, On-premises Data Gateway, or other hybrid connectivity technologies.
• Designing secure Azure integration solutions and managing secrets and credentials.
• Experience with healthcare compliance requirements such as HIPAA or GDPR.
• Designing end-to-end monitoring and logging frameworks using Azure monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Strong experience with HL7 v2.x and/or FHIR, including healthcare system integrations.
• Experience creating detailed Azure technical design and architecture documents, including solution components, interfaces, security, communication protocols, and database architecture.
• Experience with integration patterns such as Request/Response, Publish/Subscribe, ordered delivery, throttling, and error handling.
• Experience with data validation and transformation using technologies such as XSD, XSLT, Liquid templates, Azure Data Mapper, or custom code.

The ideal candidate combines strong Azure Integration Services and C#/.NET development expertise with practical experience delivering secure, scalable, high-volume integrations in complex enterprise or healthcare environments.

Experience integrating clinical systems using HL7/FHIR and working across cloud and on-premises environments will be particularly valuable.
