SUMMARY: All-round general knowledge of paint applications and preparation of product, this role
will lend support to the Lead Hand. Responsible for receiving and releasing quality product in to/from the Paint Shop. Operators shall apply their knowledge of paint processes to produce finished goods, and the flexibility to assume other assigned duties in preparation for shipping.
ROLE:

• Performs assembly of product as required
• Identifies quality product acceptable for paint
• Troubleshoots related processes and equipment
• Attends to required minor repairs
• Ability to work independently / with minimal supervision
• Good interpersonal skills and a team player
• Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

REQUIREMENTS:

• Min. grade 12 or equivalent education
• 3+ years relevant work experience in powder coat applications and techniques (reading blueprints, installations, repairs, etc.) in a metal welding/fabrication environment
• Ability to work shifts
• Written and oral aptitude in English
• Ability to meet prescribed production standards
• Capable and willing to learn

VACANCIES: 1 Day Shift (7:00am – 3:30pm)
RATE: $24.12

• Subject to assessment of skills and qualifications by Active following a 60 working days probationary period
• Shifts may vary
• Shift Premium where applicable
