The Job

As a Contract Administrator, you'll be at the heart of exciting, large-scale projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Here's a sneak peek of what you'll be tackling:

  • On-Site Leadership: Take charge of site visits and work closely with construction managers, contractors, sub-contractors, and client representatives to keep projects on track and moving forward.
  • Contract Mastery: Oversee change control procedures, manage contracts, and ensure strict adherence to building codes and safety regulations—your role will be essential to maintaining project integrity.
  • Project Excellence: Play a critical role in delivering landmark projects, including public spaces, community developments, and institutional landmarks that will leave a lasting impact.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Work alongside architects and production teams to manage change orders, RFIs, and other critical documentation, ensuring the seamless execution of design concepts.
  • Meticulous Documentation: Take charge of project reporting, ensuring every change, update, and milestone is accurately documented and communicated to the project team.

What You'll need to succeed:

We're looking for a passionate and driven professional who has:

  • Education: A Diploma/Certification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in architecture, with a minimum of 4 years in contract administration, project coordination, or site work.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with Revit and Microsoft Office Suite is a must. You'll also need to be comfortable reviewing and marking up shop drawings.
  • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with architects, project teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent Communication: Stellar presentation, negotiation, and communication skills—because you'll be working directly with clients and other key players.
  • Added Bonus: A background in architectural technology or a related technical field would be a fantastic asset.
