Barista

Busy café in Toronto/North York is seeking an experienced full-time barista to join our small team of 1-3 members. This role involves preparing coffee, smoothies, and specialty drinks using espresso machines, drip coffee makers, and blenders, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Full-time availability Sunday through Friday is required, with regular weekend and holiday shifts expected. Opportunities for advancement to shift supervisor are available for motivated team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, smoothies, and specialty beverages
• Operate POS system and handle cash transactions
• Maintain café cleanliness and stock inventory
• Deliver friendly and efficient customer service
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Perform opening and closing duties

Required Qualifications

• Experience making coffees, smoothies, and specialty drinks
• Cashier/POS experience
• Friendly, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Full-time availability Sunday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years in coffee service
• Experience with espresso machine operation
• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling
• Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills
