Receiver - Kitsilano

Choices Markets in Kitsilano currently has an opening for a Receiver. We are seeking someone who enjoys working independently and has an eye for detail.
Responsibilities for this position include:

• processing all incoming product on a timely basis;
• ensuring that all orders are complete and in good condition;
• maintaining good relationships with vendors and delivery drivers;
• completing all necessary paperwork with efficiency and accuracy;
• organizing deliveries onto carts and into storage areas in an efficient manner;
• keeping workspaces, storage areas and delivery areas safe, clean and organized;
• maintaining good relationships with co-workers and customers; and
• adhering to all OHS and other policy requirements.

• is highly detail oriented;
• is personable and diplomatic;
• enjoys working independently;
• is comfortable and proficient using Microsoft Office software;
• is willing and able to work in all kinds of weather;

• is capable of ongoing heavy lifting (up to 70 pounds); and
• is comfortable in a physically demanding job that includes bending, crouching and reaching.
