Junior IT Administrator

Our client is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Junior IT Administrator to support their day-to-day technology operations. This role provides technical assistance to users, helps maintain IT systems and equipment, and works closely with the IT team to ensure reliable and secure technology services across the organization. Key Responsibilities - Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and user issues. - Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and mobile devices. - Assist with network monitoring and basic troubleshooting of connectivity issues. - Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related user account administration. - Perform software installations, updates, and system maintenance tasks. - Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, including patch management and antivirus updates. - Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, and support records. - Support IT projects, system upgrades, and technology deployments as required. Qualifications: - Diploma, Degree, or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - 2 to 4 years of IT support or systems administration experience. - Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments. - Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. - Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration. - Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. - Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel between company sites. - Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Azure, or CCNA are considered assets.
