Shipper/Receiver

Summary:

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the shipment of all goods to customers as well as the receipt of all goods from Suppliers. They are responsible for their assigned warehouse and the safe storage of received goods and shipment of deliveries; to co-ordinates with inside sales, service and manufacturing to ensure timely processing of all orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving:
  • Compare packing slip to counted received quantity
  • Inspect goods on receipt and report any non-conformances to procurement
  • Receive goods in ERP system
  • Store in proper locations
    
• Shipping:
  • Prepare goods for safe shipment under most cost-effective manner, balance costs and timeliness of delivery of product
  • Ensure goods allocations per order requirements
  • Partially ship with customer consent
  • Maintain proper records of shipping
    
• General:

Qualifications & Education

• 2+ years' experience preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
• Motivated, energetic and personable
• Experience with Microsoft office software and understanding of accounting and ERP systems
• Forklift training preferred
