The Sony Imaging Territory Manager is a key member of the Sony Imaging team, responsible for driving brand advocacy, sales growth, and customer engagement across designated territory. Working closely with Sony leadership, retail partners, professional creators, law enforcement organizations, and educational institutions, this role supports Sony's imaging business through relationship management, training, product demonstrations, and collaborative market development initiatives.
Focus categories include Sony digital imaging products, video solutions, professional camcorders, and accessories. Schedule & What We Offer:
- Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday Through Friday - 9am-6pm with occasional weekend events

- Collaborate closely with Sony management and cross-functional teams to execute sales, marketing, training, and product launch initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with photo specialty retailers, professional creators, production studios, law enforcement organizations, educational institutions, and industry organizations.
- Deliver product knowledge, sales, and merchandising training to retail sales associates and key account teams.
- Support Sony product launches, workshops, trade shows, retail events, and community engagement programs.
- Serve as a Sony brand ambassador by providing expert product guidance, demonstrations, and customer support.
- Drive awareness, adoption, and growth of Sony imaging products and Sony Pro Support services.
- Develop relationships with professional photographers, videographers, content creators, camera clubs, and industry influencers.
- Ensure Sony merchandising standards and brand presentation are maintained within assigned retail accounts.
- Identify sales opportunities and influence product adoption through consultative engagement with partners and end users.
- Maintain accurate activity reporting, customer databases, and market intelligence.
- 5+ years of experience in photography, videography, imaging, consumer electronics, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of camera systems, lenses, video products, imaging workflows, and industry trends.
- Experience in retail sales, account management, training, and product demonstrations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Customer-focused with a collaborative approach to working with Sony teams, retailers, and professional creators.
- Highly organized with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, customer relationships, events, and projects across a large territory.
- Demonstrated accountability and attention to detail, including the timely submission of activity reports, sales insights, expense reports, and other program deliverables.
- Maintains regular and proactive communication with Sony and ActionLink program leadership, providing updates on business opportunities, customer feedback, market trends, and territory performance.
- Strong time management, planning, and follow-through skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Sony stakeholders, retail partners, and team members to drive shared goals and business results.
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to achieving business objectives and team success.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Post secondary degree, certification or experience preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 60-70% throughout designated territory to support retail partners, educational institutions, professional creators, and industry events.
- Occasional overnight travel required.
- Ability to attend national meetings, training events, trade shows, and Sony-sponsored programs within Canada as needed.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends in support of events, product launches, and customer engagements.
