PTW Energy Services is hiring a Journeyman Instrumentation? to join our teamin Prince Rupert, BC.

This is a permanent, full-time maintenance position for an experienced Instrumentation Technician. The successful candidate will be required to relocate to Prince Rupert, with relocation assistance provided. Travel and Living Allowance (LOA) will also be provided for the first couple of months during the transition period.

As a Maintenance Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial instrumentation, control systems, and valves at the AltaGas facility.

This role is ideal for an experienced Instrumentation Technician who enjoys hands-on maintenance work, troubleshooting complex equipment, and working as part of a professional maintenance team.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial instrumentation and control systems.

• Calibrate, test, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control equipment.

• Perform calibration and maintenance of instruments and valves.

• Troubleshoot and repair valves, instruments, and associated control equipment.

• Diagnose instrumentation and control system issues and determine appropriate corrective actions.

• Perform inspections, testing, adjustments, and repairs as required.

• Read and interpret instrumentation drawings, schematics, loop diagrams, and technical documentation.

• Complete maintenance work orders, service reports, and required documentation accurately.

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and respond to corrective maintenance requirements.

• Identify potential equipment issues and recommend corrective action.

• Support planned and emergency maintenance activities.

• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to safely complete maintenance activities.

• Follow all site-specific maintenance procedures and safety requirements.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Participate in toolbox meetings, safety meetings, and site safety programs.

• Certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician.

• Industrial maintenance experience.

• Experience with instrumentation calibration and troubleshooting.

• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining valves and instrumentation.

• Strong mechanical and instrumentation troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to read and interpret instrumentation drawings, schematics, loop diagrams, and technical documentation.

• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills.

• Reliable, safety-focused, and committed to quality workmanship.

• Valid driver's license.

• Valid site safety certifications as required.

Relocation to Prince Rupert is required for this position.

PTW will provide relocation assistance to help support your move to Prince Rupert. Travel and Living Allowance (LOA) will also be provided for the first couple of months during the transition period while you relocate and establish yourself in the area.
